Contained Palm Terminals are electrical terminals that have a narrower palm than standard terminals. They are particularly useful in assemblies where the space available is reduced. For that reason, contained palm terminals are sometimes referred to as ‘contained palm lugs’, ‘reduced palm lugs’, ‘narrow palm lugs’, or ‘reduced width lugs’.
Total Connections manufacture contained palm lugs from high quality C106 copper tube and are finished in bright electro tin plate. Other finishes are available on request, such as matt tin, nickel, silver and gold. As well as our standard ranges, contained palm terminals are available as bespoke products, though the nature of the reduced palm limits available hole sizes.
